Chabad of the CWE was founded in October of 2018 as part of the Chabad of Greater St Louis network. Inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, our aim is connect Jews with each other, their heritage and the Jewish future.
"Love your fellow like yourself" is an interpretation of and commentary on "Love G‑d your G‑d." He who loves his fellow-Jew loves G‑d, because the Jew has with in himself a "part of G‑d Above." Therefore, when one loves the Jew - i.e. his inner essence - one loves G‑d.
G‑d doesn’t need you to report on the dirt in His world.
He sent you here to search out the jewels hidden in the mud, clean them and polish them until they shine.
And when you bring them to Him, the angels make a crown of them...
